I loved it! We were fully educated on issues that have impacted our lives so much. The class opened my eyes at the importance of our roles in this society. My favorite part of the class was learning about things that I hadn't known about. It's definitely a great way to become more educated! A lot of people don't realize how important women really are and how much we've progressed. -Leslie Tillett

I think every student in the whole universe should take this class! This is an eye opening class to so many things. This class is not just about women! You learn so much about yourself and your classmates. After taking this class I see everything so differently. Ms. Delgado is more than a teacher. She is a very passionate person. She is a teacher that takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart. This class has made me a very confident person, and someone who is very open. Also, it has made me realize that there are so much out there and so much the world has to offer. So students, take this class because I promise you that you will love it like me. :) -Kelly Vang

The Women's Studies class is where I first learned the true meaning of feminism and ever since then have proudly identified myself as a feminist. This class will teach you so much about not only women's issues, but societal issues. What I learned in this class stayed with me and was valuable in college courses as well. Definitely life-changing! -Amanda Rowen

I had the pleasure of being taught by Ms. Delgado for just a little over 3 years. In that time I took women's studies, T.A. for women's, and Economics. In that short time I was encouraged to think outside the box, I was taught that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, to learn about a history that is quite often underestimated in worth. Truly, I was given the opportunity to learn something absolutely new to my world; whether that be about history or about myself. Class each day was a handbook on life, on how to reach my full potential. I take pride in my history, and in being a part of it.
Ms. Delgado is more of a mentor than a teacher, and any class you take with her will leave you feeling matured, intelligent, and most importantly, empowered. I take her lessons with me everyday if my life, and I am grateful and a much better human being for having taken her classes. I am the best and most successful me that I can be, and in the words of Ms. Delgado, "What other people think of you is none of your business." That my friend is the key to happiness in abundance. -Kasandra Valles

Well the class actually helped me become way more informed about things. I seriously feel like it made me a stronger woman. Some of the things Ms. Delgado brought to our attention really stuck with me and I now live by a lot of the things we learned in the class. The discussions we had in that class were just like the college seminars I am taking here at a CSU. -Alexandria Molina
After taking the class I felt more confident in who I was and felt more educated about women and their struggles.

You learn about so much history, it seems like you have never been in a history class. -Joey Davis
Going into this I had no idea how it would be and what I would learn, but I quickly realized there was a lot I needed to learn. Every day I was taught something I did not know before. I also found out a lot about myself and how I can potentially change the world if I want to. This was the best class I had all year. -Arianna Hall

I learned that you can’t wait around for something to happen, you have to go out and make it happen for yourself.

I’ve learned so much in this class. Next year’s class don’t think that this is a man hating class because it’s not. This class really makes you think about things. It really matures you. At least that’s the effect if had on me. You are who you are, don’t change that. -Briana Verderber
